NSFFL hosts 7th Annual Flag Football Festival
The North Shore Flag Football League of Massachusetts is hosting their 7th annual Flag Football Festival Tournament June30th & July 1st.
The tournament will be played over 2 days with the round robin preliminary games being held at the all new Woburn High School Athletic Complex which has 2 full size turf fields. The playoffs and championship games will be played at UCONN's 40,000 seat, Rentschler Stadium in Connecticut. Age divisions available are; 6-8 co-ed, 9-11 co-ed, 12-14 boys, 12-14 girls, 15-17 boys and 15-17 girls (age cut off is age as of June 1, 2012).
In 2011, the tournament hosted 62 teams from seven different states that include; MA, NH, RI, PA, NY, NJ, and FL. This year the tournament is expecting over 80 teams to register. Registration closes June 1, 2012 or as soon as each age division fills up. Every team will play a minimum 4 games and every team will make the playoffs, giving them at least one game in UCONN stadium. The cost for the 2 day tournament is $350.
